Overview
The tour starts in the morning, with pick-up from your hotel (Kusadasi or Selcuk).
The first stop is Afrodisias, an ancient Greek and Roman city located about 200 kilometers southeast of Kusadasi. Afrodisias is known for its well-preserved ruins, including a large stadium, a theater, and a temple of Aphrodite. The tour guide will take you on a walking tour of the site, providing historical and cultural context along the way.
After exploring Afrodisias, the tour heads to Pamukkale, which is known for its stunning travertine terraces and hot springs. Pamukkale is located about 120 kilometers east of Afrodisias. Here you can walk on the white terraces and enjoy the hot springs, which are believed to have therapeutic properties.
In Pamukkale, you will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, which was founded in the 2nd century BC. Hierapolis is known for its well-preserved ruins, including a large theater, a colonnaded street, and a necropolis.
Finally, the tour returns to Kusadasi or Selcuk , dropping you off at your hotel.
